Posting messages

When posting messages you should have the newest message posted when we open the tab...currently the oldest messages appear first...
You shouldn't have to scroll through all the old messages to find the latest one.

The board default is descending order for posts. There could be several new posts since you visited last so listing posts in ascending order would require scrolling and not be intuitive IMO. You can change post display order in your personal User Control Panel (click on the small triangle beside your username) and then select the "Board Preferences" tab and then "Edit Display Options". The following video is for a previous generation of phpBB but is similar to this board's current functionality.

You can go directly to the last post in any topic by clicking on the arrow icon beside the username in the "Last Post" column.

Alternatively, you can immediately view new posts by clicking on Quick Links and selecting New Posts. I have this link saved as a bookmark:
